tubifex worms are a little thinner and more of a reddish colour, whereas the blackworms tend to be fatter and more of a brown colour. Tubifex worms also live in polluted areas of streams and things, bleh. Blackworms are better.

so they are different, good, my lfs sells black worms and i wanted to make sure they were not tubiflex.
