mariosim![]() Enthusiast Posts: 207 Kudos: 245 Votes: 20 Registered: 28-Jul-2004 ![]() | i have recently read several posts regarding the use of live blackworms as a food source. i have never used them, but from what i have read, they appear to establish colonies in aqauriums' substrates. i have found a local source for live blackworms, but am hesitant to try them. do the surviving colonies cause any damage to fish? are they considered a nuisance similar to snails? do they eat any uneaten food particles they may find in the gravel? any info would be appreciated. |

I overfed once in my 75 and had a bunch make homes under some rocks, and i didn't notice a difference in water quality, and the next time i did a water change and moved the rock, they were gobbled up by my cories and loaches. |
