 | breeding.......then not breeding :| |
opiate  Enthusiast Posts: 152 Kudos: 82 Votes: 12 Registered: 30-Sep-2004   | Hello, I have a 4 foot x 18 inch x 18inch aquarium, and have a beaut breeding pair of Blue Akaras! They are always chasing one another and rubbing up agaisnt each other and even mouthing each other! I thought awesome baby akaras on the way! However i have recently purchased 3 baby silver sharks, 2 clown loaches, 2 silver dollars, 2 electric yellows, 1 Pleco and 4 kuhli loaches. Thye all get along real well.... but suddenly the akaras aint so lovey dovey! is this because i have added new fish to the tank? |

Territories were changed, and there is all sorts of activity and potential predators to eat the babies. |
