Hello,

I have a 4 foot x 18 inch x 18inch aquarium, and have a beaut breeding pair of Blue Akaras! They are always chasing one another and rubbing up agaisnt each other and even mouthing each other! I thought awesome baby akaras on the way!
However i have recently purchased 3 baby silver sharks, 2 clown loaches, 2 silver dollars, 2 electric yellows, 1 Pleco and 4 kuhli loaches.
Thye all get along real well.... but suddenly the akaras aint so lovey dovey! is this because i have added new fish to the tank?

You most likley shook them up by adding all these new fish, and they don't feel secure breeding anymore. Territories were changed, and there is all sorts of activity and potential predators to eat the babies.
