	breeding guppies.
bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004	i have been breeding endlers, but not guppies. i just got 3 males and 2 female guppies and they are liveing in a 30g quartine tank 4 now. my question is how long should it take for them to breed. however my friend sold me these fish and the males and females were kept in separet tank so they have had any contact with eachother.

Guppies are pretty easy to breed, they basically do it themselves. They aren't called the "one million fish" for nothing.:%) Anyway you can induce breeding by feeding live foods so that they think their is plenty of food for their young. Also get some plants for the young to hide in, or they become food for the parents. Cheers
