I'm not sure how hard they are to keep, but rest assured if you get one you will never see it. As far I know, they aren't normally offered in the pet trade... ![]() ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

I wouldn't recommend you keep them. *edit--Jaylene, there's a little "edit" button at the bottom of this post that you can use to correct any mis-spellings. ![]() Last edited by jason_r_s at 26-Oct-2004 05:12 |

They are basically giant earthworms (with backbones). ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

I though I saw a orangish color one on a website and it didn't make much reference to the coloration. thanks..................openwater |

They're a whole order of organisms all by themselves, I believe. The orange one is likely another species than the commonly sold grey ones. In fact, it might even be one of the terrestrial species... -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

They were thin 1 inch long and bright color. Did not appear to have legs, hair or other features. Did look sort of looked segmented. Rinsed the plants good and haven't noticed any intruder in the tank. Could these possible be baby caecilians |

Caecilians are fairly large amphibians; most species get over a foot long. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |
