i have been useing color bits to feed all of my fish. i was wondering has any1 used this food and please tell me about your experience.

Tetra makes color bits. I've never used a singular food, but rather a good mix of a variety of things, such as flakes, pellets, frozen, cubes, FD, tablets, etc etc to achieve the best colour in my fish. Variety is the spice of life, and varying a fish's diet and keeping the aquarium in good shape is the single best way to keep your fish in the best colour they can be in.

However, i've used the colour bits and it seems to work very well New Life Spectrum color enhancing food also works great, i think better than tetra.

Okay... yeah, what Tim said: variety is great... I feed lots of other good stuff besides flakes (though the flakes I do feed are tetra, I think they're pretty good) freeze-dried tubifex, gellied bloodworms or daphnia, fresh brine shrimp napulii, and sometimes frozen adult brine shrimp.

My fish love the color bits by Tetra, especially my africans, however you can get a cheaper mix through www.kensfish.com He has everything! Later
