Does anyone use this stuff? Does it work? Please give brand names, if the food worked.

These foods really do work! It can take a couple of weeks to see a real difference. I use Tetra Colourbits. I've used others but I like this one because you can crush the pellets slightly so that my cardinal tetras can fit them in their mouth. I also have dwarf gouramis, rams, and celebes rainbows, and all of their colours are intense.

I use Tetramin Tropical Flakes. It claims to enhance color of the fish. So far I can see a little brighter in color. But this process will take time to work.

Hope this helps.

I'm using OSI VividColor and I don't see any difference.

I've also used the color-enhancing TetraMin and I didn't notice my fish to be any more colorful with that either...

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Friend used White Crane, worked pretty well. Apparently will even give female peacocks male colouration.
Most of the pet stores around here use it. People will buy more fish when their colours are showing.

Thanks for the comments, everyone.

After comparing the ingredients in about 5 different color foods, I decided I'd try OSI Vivid Color. Even if it doesn't help their colors, it'll give them more of a complete diet. Most of the foods I currently feed don't have Spirulina or Carotene, so the OSI food should help my fish out some how.

I haven't tried feeding special color enhancing foods, but I have noticed my fish always look great with fresher, meatier foods like frozen, jellied, or freeze-dried.
