I know there are flakes but do frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworms do it too? Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance [span class="edited"][Edited by gartenzwerfe 2004-08-27 18:17][/span] |

I keep mine on from 7 am to about midnight. All of the commercial fish food is color enhanced. The frozen foods give variety. ________________________________________ The calming qualities of a good aquarium are irrefutable |

The scale thing I haven't heard, but it certainly makes sense, what with vitamin D and the like. -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

Now of course live food is the best way to go in terms of shrimp, but it is not always the easiest. After live i would go with frozen, the freeze dried, then prepaired foods. Most foods that have live (or rather formally live) food in them such as bloodworms and tubifex are really good for bringing out color. Most of the other foods that bring out colors do well. Basically, the best thing to do is give your fish a good diet and exercise... oh wait thats humans .... i mean a good diet and the right conditions. The fish will respond to that and be brighter. |
