I'm thinking of taking my pearl gourami pair out of my community (stock in profile) and putting them into a spare 20g to breed. I was planning on having the pair, 4 cories, 3 otos, and then either a smallish single fish or a little 3/4 school of something else just to fill the middle water.
Can you name a fish suitable that could live in a 20g and not threaten the fry?
I was thinking maybe 3 sparkling rainbows, or a blind cave fish or 2.
any suggestions. preferably not fish that need a whle big school, so not neons etc.

i think 3 blind fih might be pushing the bioload somewhat, since they get to 3 inches don't they. I'm pretty sure they don't need toschool, so getting a single one would be okay. anyone disagree? Also, what about a badis. They have them in at my lfs for the first time ever, and they seem quite cool. but would they eat fry?

Blind cave fish do prefer the company of their own kind. Bioload would be fine in my opinion...but that of course depends on live plants/filtration/water changes that is maintained.
