How big is he? And how big is the enclosure?
I don't recommend keeping anything with chelodina longicollis unless they're intended to become food.
If you still want to do it, I'd recommend native fish that are much larger than the turtle such as golden perch, silver perch, eel tailed catfish etc. Fish that are too small to be considered as food might also work (australian smelt, a few different gudgeon species etc) but it would be risky.
If you decide to keep the game fish with the turtle, you'll need a very large tank, or possibly a pond to keep them happy and healthy.

After hearing some bad stories, I think your only choice would be a fish that is bigger than your turtle. Either that, or one that swims faster. Turtles love eating fish!

Its true....and the fish would need to be larger than the turtle, as even fish too big to easily fit in the turtle's mouth would be caught and torn apart....snakenecks are connsumate predators.

For now, a large archer would be OK, but not once the turtle exceeds 15cm.
