| dead female... lonely male? | |
niggit![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fish Addict Posts: 631 Kudos: 282 Votes: 0 Registered: 29-Jan-2003 ![]() | i had a pair of gold autrales (killifish). shortly after i got them, the female's eye was injured and became fungusy. i treated this with an anti-fungis medication, but it was too late... she died a day later. ![]() my questions are: 1) is it possible that the male bit the female and hurt her eye? there's nothing in the tank that could have damaged it... 2) the male seems to be looking around and around the tank... do they bond strongly? will he be stressed by himself? shoulod i get him another mate? thanks |

Although IMO, I think most guys would be happier with a mate =P I'm not too sure if the male bit the females eye... but it's not likely and if you do get him a mate, I doubt it would happen again. |
