Rob1619 Fish Addict Posts: 763 Kudos: 619 Votes: 626 Registered: 01-Sep-2004	Hi..here you have some more info on the violet gobys...it was really difficult to find some info about violet gobys..here is what you can give them to eat:ghost shrimp and black worms.you need maximum 1/4 inc of gravel and some places for it to hide in.Dragon fish (violet goby) has very small eyes and have difficulty seeing and finding food.The water temprature should be 65-78 degrees F. Robby I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

Roberta Fingerling Posts: 38 Kudos: 24 Votes: 0 Registered: 07-Sep-2004	they look to be about 6-7 inches. i have tried givin them flakes frozen brime freezed dried shrimp.nothing yet. not unless they eat while i am not looking. when my husband bought them he said they had feeder fish with them but i was told they do not eat other fish. i am getting so confused with these things.

Have you tried shrimp pellets?..They love that you can also give them small Fish(live)and worms. How big are they now? This fish can be 22" max.and minimum tank..is 80 gallons for this fish.you should have a cave or pvc tube or something simular so as the fish can take shelter in. Dragon goby should be in slighty brackish water with an alkaline PH.(You have 2 of them in a 29 gallon tank)...you need at least 80-100 gallons for these fishes. Do you have any pics of them?
