They are cheap, very common, and somewhat nice-looking. They are also extremely easy to breed, as you don't need to make any special accommodations for them. |

What would you recomend for both setups? I don't currently have any of those minnows available locally thats the only problem, any other suggestions? |

For a species that's easy but won't overpopulate, you might look into White Cloud Mountain Minnows.
