	eclipse 1 question
johnnylaw1984 Enthusiast Posts: 158 Kudos: 168 Votes: 19 Registered: 27-Sep-2004	hello, i recently purchased an eclipse 1 from a local thrift store for $25. The aquarium is all glass. I was wondering how many US gallons it is. I have used the calculator on this website and it states 15. A guy at my local lfs said it was 10-12 gallons. This site has a calculator you can use to find the gallons if you have rough measurements. Unless someone else knows them off the top of their head. kkens Big Fish Posts: 346 Kudos: 67 Votes: 36 Registered: 26-Jul-2000	The eclipse 1 is just the hood and fits on a 10" x 20" tank, which could be a ten gallon or a fifteen gallon depending on the height of the tank.

kkens Big Fish Posts: 346 Kudos: 67 Votes: 36 Registered: 26-Jul-2000	marineland does make some aquariums but the hoods can fit on any tank with the right width and length. I have an eclipse 2 but not an eclipse tank. I would trust the capacity calculators, just use the inside measurements
