im going to finish stocking my 75g hows this
2 blue acara(maybe not a pair)
1 green severum
6 yoyo loaches
1 spotted raphael catfish

also im putting in a a 24-36in peice of driftwood . any comments are welcome.

Other than the clowns (which you already addressed) It sounds good. I was planning on doing a similiar setup but in a 90g (2 severums, 3 blue acaras and some bottom feeders) but now im going with a 125 and changed my stocking plans a bit.

The cichlids sound good

You could always go with a group of smaller loaches instead of the clowns to avoid having to move them at some point. There are quite a few active, interesting, nice-looking loaches available.

any other loaches are really hard to get here but maybe i could special order some. i changed my mind a bigger group of yoyos sound cool

i dont think i can get any of those. the only way i can even get yoyos is special order. loaches are really uncommom beseides clown. there will be a loach every now and then

Yo-yos are good. You can get a decent sized group in that tank...the fish will be happy and you'll have lots of activity on the bottom of your tank (I really like loaches

The lfs close to my house don't usually carry loaches other than clowns, which is a shame since they grow too large for most people's tanks.

Now if I drive an hour to my favorite fs there are usually at least half a dozen loaches in stock...clown, queen, zebra, dwarf, angelicus, hillstream, zipper, kuhli, ...I love that store
