| frozen cube choices | |
johnsmith![]() Enthusiast Posts: 166 Kudos: 144 Votes: 0 Registered: 13-May-2004 ![]() | I would like to get some frozen food for my l. ocellatus and julies but the lps has a bunch of different types of frozen cubed food and I wasn't sure which one would be best. Also, I think I'm about to get some ocellatus fry, so would any of these frozen cube foods be good for fry as well as their parents? |

I don't know about the cichlids, because I have no experience with those, but I bet they would gobble them up as well. I don't think fry would be able to eat them though, as fry should only eat very small foods, such as brine shrimp. |

My fish get very excited on frozen food day and they will push each other out of the way to get to the food first. Even the cories and loaches come up from the bottom and knock the guppies out of the way to get their fair share. |

My Julies get mosquito larvae (glassworms), an omnivor blend, mysis shrimp and brine shrimp as treats. They get cichlid pellets and granules as their regular food. The mosquito larvae seems to be their favorite though they eat it all eagerly. ![]() O Tempora O Mores |

Also, you might take a look and see if they have frozen baby brine shrimp.. I use them to feed my guppy fry.. |
