Despite that, it's overstocked because the female just keeps having babies. The male guppy was seperated out months ago, but the female can make six drops after the fact... Suffice it to say that if I didn't have the danios on population control, the guppies wouldn't be able to move because there would be so many. As it is, if the fry survive the danios for more than a day, they'll most likely make it, as the danios won't touch them when they're more than a day or two old. Both neon tetras and cories are schooling fish, so you should optimally have 6 of each. Most people would advise against having cories in a ten gallon, though, because there's just not enough floor space for a proper school. ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |
