I'm confused...the things you listed in your 55, are they in there already? Or are they things you want to put in...

Okay. Well angels+cardinals/neons=

Most discus tanks have usually discus and not much else, but if they're compatible with angels, go for it. I'd do some more research on that first though. I would add maybe a small shoal of rare cories, or even pandas, but nothing else. Keep water quality up and you should do okay, temperature should be around 82*F.

well most everyone i asked said that cardinals would be fine with angels as long as the cards are full grown and the angels are small so they get used to being around them instead of eating them

and most people said i could keep angels with discus. some said the only way i could do that was to get angfels that werent wild caught others said it didnt matter

You are going to hear differing opinions on keeping angelfish and discus together. It could work if you find a really peaceful angel. However, if it were my tank, I wouldn't risk it because discus can be quite expensive.

As ferret said, discus would prefer a tank that is 82 degrees. The water should be around 1-3 dGH and a bit acidic. Another fish that would appreciate that type of water would be blue rams. They are beautiful and peaceful.

I would be a bit wary of putting cories in such a tank because they like their water a bit cooler (around the mid to upper 70s).

I considered that too Soluble...but we have a 130gallon show quality discus tank that we kept larger/rarer cories in, and everyone existed peacefully. We had to take them out because the Motoro Rays kept sucking on them.

The angel/cardinal thing you said might work...but I have to agree with soluble in that it might not be worth the risk to keep the angels w/ the discus...even the cheapest ones are expensive.

EDIT:

We=work
