Well angels+cardinals/neons= Most discus tanks have usually discus and not much else, but if they're compatible with angels, go for it. I'd do some more research on that first though. I would add maybe a small shoal of rare cories, or even pandas, but nothing else. Keep water quality up and you should do okay, temperature should be around 82*F. It could work if you find a really peaceful angel. However, if it were my tank, I wouldn't risk it because discus can be quite expensive. As ferret said, discus would prefer a tank that is 82 degrees. The water should be around 1-3 dGH and a bit acidic. Another fish that would appreciate that type of water would be blue rams. They are beautiful and peaceful. I would be a bit wary of putting cories in such a tank because they like their water a bit cooler (around the mid to upper 70s). |

We had to take them out because the Motoro Rays kept sucking on them. ![]() The angel/cardinal thing you said might work...but I have to agree with soluble in that it might not be worth the risk to keep the angels w/ the discus...even the cheapest ones are expensive.
