i just went to a warm/hot spring today to catch some tropical fish, this place was pretty shallow, water was clear, about 80 degrees. i saw a few small fish in the water, and i used my net to pick one up, it was some kind of livebearer, then i walked further down the shore, i saw convicts and jewels. there were just EVERYWHERE, i am guessing at least 400 fish in this big pool size pond. and they come to the shore too.

i used my fish food as bait, and caught a few good size convicts and yellow tailed platies. the baby platies were biting my toes i didnt wanna keep convitcs nor platies, so i let them all go back to the water in the end.

there were no true aquarium plants there, which really disappointed me, cuz thats the main reason i went there, and crayfish. 60 mile drive :%) anyways, just wanna share this wnderful experience i had today, and if you guys wanna find some tropical fish around yer area, try any warm/hot springs, dont tip yer head in the water tho, you may die from some kinda ameba.

Thats cool i can't beleive that you seen wild fish i mean im in scotland its not like your going to find a hot spring full with fish here but that must have been amazing i wish i could so that some day!

whats funny is that i am in DESERT!!! in the middle of this desert, theres the spring. i am in nevada, las vegas, i didnt know we had any springs around here, shoot, i didnt think we had any water here besides hoover dam. my buddy just told me about hot springs last week, so we went, and it was kinda interesting.

if you wanna know theres any springs around your area, go to google and search for (LOCATION hot springs)
