What type and wattage of lighting do you have on the tank?

Do you have any real plants?

What are the water parameters? I know nitrate can have an impact, as well as phosphates and a few others...but many people don't have those tests.

What kind of algae is it? If you don't know, can you describe it?

Without getting complicated, buy a magfloat. Efficient, and you don't get wet.

My BN solved my algae problem. Maybe cut back on feeding fish, that could help eliminate some growth of the algae. Reduce lighting and make sure no sunlight is hitting tank.

a Bristlenose pleco. Of the genus Ancistrus. They're pretty good against algae, and not too big (about 5 inches adult)

I would get rid of your chinese algae eater. They get really big, dont eat algae, and often eat other fish. They get very aggressive as they grow.
Also, I am surprised you can keep 3 paradise fish together without them killing each other.
I would recommend either a bristlenose pleco, or an apple snail. Both these dont eat plants and are great at eating algae.
Ottos are another option. You could put 3-4 in a 30g tank.
