my 55usg that house my jack dempsey and my texas got a crack from some careless siblings. i had to move them to another tank, but they would get eatin in my big tank and my other cichlid tank is still under construction. so last resort i had to move them into my semi-aggressive tank.
this morning i was amazed, my 2" black skirt tetras were grazing right past the jack d and the jd swam away! then the jd and texas were getting chased by smaller kissing gourami!

this will be only temporary but im worried about my larger cichlids getting harrased by my tetras. ]

lol
I'm sure your cichlids will become the aggressors once they get used to the tank.

Sometimes bigger guys don't chase the littlies because they perceive them to be way too small to bother with.

Hope everyone in the neighbourhood continues to get on...
