As long as the snails and such are eating them, and they aren't dirtying your aquarium, I don't see why it should bother anything. |

So I don't think they could not like the yellow ones, because they'd taste the same. Maybe the yellow ones don't look like food to them, or are harder to see on the surface(not as eye catching as the brighter red and green ones)? Last edited by castlequest at 19-Oct-2004 03:42 |

They simply would not eat the flakes that floated at the top of the tank. I spoke to a friend abt this and he suggested that I "dunk" the flake food in a small quantity of water so that they sink before I put them into the tank. That way the moment I put in the flakes food, it sinks to the bottom of the tank and the clowns and plecos are more happy eating them. This also helps keep the top surface of the tank clean |

Nobody ever favors the different colors. Then again, my gold barbs will eat anything within site. Little pigs...Anyway, I guess I might pay closer attention. My guess is is that color may be harder for them to see, or something along those lines. -Formerly known as the Ferretfish ![]() |
