Though it's good that Arapaima are not the most active fish in the world, their sheer size obviously makes the tank size they need godawfully enormous. A Pacu may be okay with a tank that large, but obviously bigger is always better. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

If you insist, Cali...:%) ![]() Also, I have seen Arapaima way cheaper than $250. I have only seen one hobbyist's set-up containing Arapaima that I'm satisfied is safe for housing it.
