hi! i have a question about killis (sorry, i would've posted this in the killi forum, but it doesn't get much traffic by the looks of it!)

anyhow, just wondering what the likelihood of my aphyosemion cognicum eating some small fry i have is? i've read that some killi babies can be raised in the tank with the parents... sure would be easier!

Most killifish supposedly rarely eat their fry, so you should be okay. Even if yours start to do so, you could always just buy a breeding net, and place the fry in there.

right now i only have two or three fry but it's a start!

they're in their own little tank, but i have trouble seeing them and am worried that they are not finding enough to eat (i have been giving them frozen baby brine shrimp)

if i do put them in the parent's tank, do i need to continue feeding them, or will they find scraps of food etc... from the plants, and parents' food? (maybe a stupid question, i know, but i wasn't sure...)

Infusoria, baby brine shrimp, and very small live foods are good choices for killifish fry. They are very small fish, so they need very small foods that will fit in the fry's mouths.
