| live food - delivered to the door? | |
justicerulesok![]() Enthusiast Posts: 195 Kudos: 161 Votes: 2 Registered: 27-Jun-2004 ![]() | Hello I have a 125ukG set up with a collection of cichlids & a few smaller fish...is there anywhere in the uk i can order live food from & get it delivered ? as I don't drive 1 have to wait for my b/f to give me a lift to the fish shops & different shops sell different foods, I go to one of giant bloodworm, another for river shrimp & one for meal worms. its 3 pm here the shops close at 6 & the b/f is still in bed so my fish wont get a treet this week. Any ideas would be good....btw I have a bucket in the garden with green water in it...been there 3 months & only grown 1 little worm thing. thank you, anita. |

Know of alot in the us but dont ship overseas. Mostly had a suggestion as to a few other live foods. Crickets ... come in most sizes, All my cichlids enjoy them once a month. Also can use earthworms/chopped up earthworms. These keep easily in the fridge and send all my fish into a feeding frenzy. My oscars take large crickets and large earthworms. My peacocks, labs, and severums take small (newly hatched) crickets and chopped up earthworms. Crickets can be coated with vitamins and calcium before feeding. Add vitamins to bag shake up and drop into aquarium. Bdadawg |
