in a earier thread 'angry fish i mentioned that i'm having a few fish attacking each other mainly my angel and rasbora.

i've decided to move some of the fish to a different tank once i get one. my options

1) livebearer tank - so move all swordtails and guppies out of the tank

2) guppies, honey gouramis and ram into own tank, maybe clown pleco as well, could see him more.

what is the smallest tank i need for both options?
and what large fish 3-5 inches could i add to replace the removed fish in my 40 gallon

what would you change/add or remove form my current stock??
all ideas welcome cheers shekoi.

ps. before anybody mentions it i'm not going to remove all and fill tank will tiger barbs!!
cheers shekoi

All the live bearers should get along fine in a tank of their own. Most live bearers do well with each other.

But, what we really need to know to answer your question, is how many fish of each kind do you have to move? In other words how many live bearers do you have?
