	needle fish-zenetodon cancila?
BeastKeeper Big Fish Posts: 444 Kudos: 389 Votes: 47 Registered: 27-Apr-2004	i saw needle fish at a lfs and before buying i decided to research it. but all i came up with were wild needle fish in asia who kill people in wooden boats. the needle got up 22" in the wild, the one i saw got up to 11". is this the same needle?

They get to be 8 inches long. If it was THE needle fish that flys, I wouldn't get that, unless you have a pool to put him in & if you don't mind an accidental stabbing in your arm

It looks very much like a gar but is quite a bit skinnier. You can feed them live fish, crickets and most any meaty foods. ill try to get a pic if i can.
