Four fully grown angels will not fit into a 20 gallon tank. I like Molly's suggestion of shelldwellers.

IMO, one angel would outgrow a 20 gallon

you should get 4 angels or gouramis or something

i foud a pike characin that only grows to five inches and is solitary.

Midnight catfish get about 5 inches long. It will eat any small fish like tetras in the night. It depends on what else you have in the tank.

how bout midnight catfish.woud those work?

okay any more sugestions?

They would fit in a 20 gallon, but they need three major things: a strong current, high amounts of dissolved oxygen, and a large algae bed. They go best in well-established tanks. If you have all that, it might work out.

i just got a new twenty gallon but i don't know what to put in it???

Either way, they do like to be kept in groups, and a group of five inch fish will not fit in a twenty gallon tank.

i have heard of one that only growas to 5in.

No on that, they can grow to nine inches. Way too big.
