That is the tank at my kids school. Wow, what beautiful cichlids. They are so peacefull together too. The big blue one doesn't chase the yellow ones at all. They all just swim around calmly. There is also a big pleco too. It's about 100 gallons, and the back of the tank is walled off and is either a space for the aquatic lizard in there, or some sort of filter. I'd say the keeper has experience.

That is awsome!!! It definately makes my little 10 gallon look pathetic, but oh well...

Where is it located at? In the hall, office, classroom?

Very beautiful!!! I hope the kids like it, because I do!!!

next time I am there during the day, I'll take a pic of the lizard. It was on the bottom.

That's really good lookin' for a school tank!

Are you sure the lizard isn't some sort of salamander, like an Axolotl or somethin'?:%)

Very good for a school tank! Much better than the one in my advisor's office (really sad because it's in the FNR department with all the fisheries people). I think perhaps the only school tank I've seen that could beat that is the planted SA biotope I donated to a school when I moved from England and had to let the tank go. Pics of the 'aquatic lizard' would be appreciated. If you can describe what it looked like perhaps we can have a go at it too.
