I already have a me I could purchase the 29g stand, a 20g long, and run the Whisper 30 I currently have on a smaller tank. I'd be combining two smaller tanks and I'm wondering if this would be overstocked: 6x harlequin rasboras 2x honey gouramis 3x kuhli loaches 2x cherry barbs 6x exclamation point rasboras 5x belted barbs edit: the tank would be heavily planted Last edited by Theresa_M at 27-Dec-2004 11:11 ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Keep a very close eye on it, and do water changes accordingly. Even if you split them all up between a 29 and a 20, I would still be watching them closely, ready to do water changes on a daily basis, until the cycle catchs up with the fish. Or, my suggestion, would be to purchase the BioSpira, or the New Improved Cycle. I cannot vouche for the NIC, but the BioSpira really does work, and overnight! If you did this, I would say your stock would be fine for the 29 gal, and limiting to the 20 gal. HTH..... There is always a bigger fish... |
