Have you eva bought a fish which is suposively peacful
but became a nightmare instead?

I had a Flying Fox which attacked anyfish it got near it
even big cichlids.
Can you beleive this! I had a black widow tetra which attacked my prized agassiz's dwarf cichlids almost to death.

It was 1 aggresive fish!

No, I can't say i have. All my fish are normal fish, and behave like normal fish.

It's not normal for those fish to turn aggresive, maybe they could be stressed or maybe they're being kept with the wrong type of tankmates.

Yes, I have.

I have an evil german blue ram that has killed 3 otocinculus on me, he went ballistic one day and killed 2 within 12 hours, the last surviving oto was killed about a month later. I love him and he was quickly forgiven. He now has some panda cories to play with but they're far to quick and smart for him to mess with, most of the time they zip around the tank taunting him, he just sits there dazed and gives up on them.

I have had dwarf gouramis go nuts and wipe out entire schools of small tetras, one nipped half of an angel's caudal fin off. Needless to say I was not impressed, and the gouramis were given up for adoption.

I have also had a few mean spirited livebearers (guppies and platies) in the past, they would nip at their tankmates regardless of what species they were. It was relly weird and I haven't seen any like them since.

Sometimes you just get a bad seed for whatever reason, they can be annoying sometimes. I think that all fish really have their own variable "personalities," and just like people sometimes you get a bad apple.

Pretty much the only "peaceful" species I've had go rambo on me are angels. Yep.

I have had a rainbow fish that killed evry tankmate in his entire territory ( prettymuch all the tank )
so I put him up for adoption very quick.

I had a marble molly that my roommate and I named "Diablo". He ended up killing around 3-4 other livebearers. He was such a pain, that we had a little time out "tank" for when he went on a rampage. The time out tank was a gallon jug that was probably very stressful on him, but deservedly so I guess. That was before I had MTS and could put him with more vicious creatures that fit his personality.
