I would vote for a 20G Long, or a 30G Long (if 30G come that way). Not too huge, and you can have a great selection of fish as long as you have good filtration

for smaller tanks the 30g is good. for bigger tanks the 75g is good it looks better than a 55g. that extra 6in in back is huge

I'd probably have to say a 40 breeder (36" x 18" x ???). My next favorite sizes would be 75 gallon (48" x 18" x 20" and 180 gallon (72" x 24" x 24".
