One tip that I've read about in other threads is to elevate the water temp a bit.... I suppose the higher temp stimulates labor..... Higher temps also have been reported as aiding in the growth of the fry once they arrive...... My question would be, what other types of fish do you have in the tank? If you have more aggressive fish, do you have ample hiding spots for the pregnant platys and guppy? Perhaps the pregnant females are too stressed by their community companions to relax enough to give birth.... Keep us updated! ![]() ![]() To thine own self be true... |

Trust me I know. I had 2 pregnant platies in a 10 gallon. I still have some leftover babies. Good Luck. |
