For 20 gal or more check out Ctenopoma acutirostre commonly known as the Spotted Bushfish or Spotted Climbing Perch. Also a great predator for a community tank of like-sized fish.

Hmm, mabe if you can find them halfbeaks. A butterfly fish would also due as it is predetory and you can feed it some pretty cool stuff.

Nope not at all. One of the more common in not the only common fresh water puffer in the hobby. They often are kept and in brackish water and they do fine as well. They are quite a bit better in the fw though.

good luck with the upcoming puffers.

No, dwarf puffer aren't brackish, no worries there. Freshwater is not only find but ideal.

I love paradise fish! But you could probably only fit one in the tank, they have great attitudes! You might need a bigger tank if it is a big one though.

dwarf puffers need about 2 gallons each you could probably get away with about 6in your tank though. For more info try a thread in the puff forum.

Definitely not, no worries with that - dwarf puffers need about 2-3 gallons each, they're quite small, albeit with good mass to them.

I was under the impression that even the dwarf puffers need a minimum of 30 gallons, I could be wrong though.
