Not really... Most puffers are rather nasty little things... There are only a few fresh water puffers and all of them I can think of will nip on most everything.

What is your current stock?

Who's mike?

SA puffers seem to do okay in a community setting.

switchblade, how long have you kept fish, i wouldn't really recomend puffers as a begginer fish (or w/ the stock list you have currently)

You say your dragon goby is ok in FW, but for how long? Keeping a BW fish in FW will compromise it's immune system, causing diseases & early death.

Puffers in a community tank is a big no-no. Although i succesfully have kept my dwarf puffers in a semi aggresive tank with tiger barbs, ottos, and a male paradise gourami.

THeres really no species that will do well in a freshwater community tank. But if your are willing to set up another tank you could try some.
