Archerfish are brackish, and I think that turtles prefer freshwater. Someone correct me there if I'm wrong. Also, I just have this feeling that an eel would be a bad idea. What size pond/tank are you planning on putting the turtle in? That would help us set some guidelines for companions. |

Turtles eat fish, and archers are brackish, turtles fresh. Eels = bottom dwelling, turtles = bottom dwelling, therefor eels = turtle food. Small red ears, softshells and asian longnecks have been known to be good with larger fish, however. |
