i added 2 female swordtails to my tank on tuesday, they had settled in well abd feeding, last night as i always do i count the fish to check all is well, it was
this morning as i was waiting for my lift to the gym, i again started counting, i noticed that one of my new swordfish was missing, looking all over the tank couldn't find it anywhere.
i decided to move the bogwood and caves i have in my tank, thinking it could be the only place it was either hinding or lying dead i completly removed all rocks and wood from the tank, nothing!!] i then removed the filters checked around them inside them, nothing]:|

Where could this fish have gone? can't jump out! haven't done a water change since tuesday.
Can it be completly eaten in one night???

They can jump out of the smallest gaps, they're good at finding them. And yes, it could have been munched overnight

If you cannot find it, well it might have jumped or eaten by the others. Have you checked around (outside)your tank?.

i can't have jumped out off my tank, it's completly covered by glass and then a wooden lid over that.

it must have been eaten.

thanks for the replies.
