Nothing really that big in a tank that size. -female bettas -paradise fish (some would argue that size tank is too small though) -pair of apistogramma or rams -cherry barbs -dwarf gourami -killies Here are some other cichlid ideas if you're interested. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Janna![]() ![]() Mega Fish Posts: 1386 Registered: 24-Aug-2003 ![]() | giant danios Giant danios get 6 inches long, which is too big. Tiger barbs get 3 inches long and are active schoolers. Plecos, if they are commons, get over a foot long. Flying foxes get too big for a 12 gallon as well. Leporinus get much too big for a 12 gallon. The other suggestions listed about are good. If you like cichlids, small shelldwellers or blue rams might be a good choice. They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver, So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces. |
