what do you like better a wet pet like a oscar or jaguar cichlid or a community. i like the wet pet easier to care for and more attention to the fish

Neither - species tanks are the best, IMO. All the benefits of the "wet pet" (lower stocking -] easier care, less stress, more individual attention) but with fry! Not always feasible (had to combine a group of species tanks recently since have to go back to school in a few weeks) but great when it is.

I definitly prefere a community or species tank. I could never spend all the money needed to set up a tank, then only have one fish. That would not only be a waste of money, but it would also be boring. But, that's just me.
