See my signature below for tank size and tank mates. I have had them all together since April 2004. OOPS...my signature seems to have disappeared. ![]() Here is what I have: 75 gallon (4 blind cave fish, 5 tiger barbs, 4 buenos aires tetra and 2 plecos). My plecos are 6 inches already, much larger than a 2 inch tiger barb, but they all seem to get along just fine. The other fish are all pretty much the same size and temperament. They are pretty cool, with minimal requirements. Just some hiding spots and some of those wafers. They can tolerate some of the worst water conditions, though I wouldn't recomend that you do that just for fun. and tell me where I can get one of those tigerbabes ![]() Last edited by mattyboombatty at 28-Sep-2004 20:07 Critical Fertilator: The Micromanager of Macronutrients |

Tigers do best in schools of 7-9 or more and with other fast moving short finned species. Plenty of choices They also do well with clown loaches, if y'alls have real estate for them. |

Tough enough to school and eat the big guys leftovers. ________________________________________ The calming qualities of a good aquarium are irrefutable |

So.. if u buy a few tiger barbs u can have practically anything with except angels! only because they have large fins! my old man has gouramis, neons, golden widows, kuhli loaches, platys, mollies and a redtail black shark. They get along really well... But fish is all about trial and error, sum fish work and some don't! buy some cheap fish and give it a go. ![]() |
