I have a 10 gallon tank just sitting there with no fish in it, but water.

Well, i looked in the tank today, and there were like thousands of these little "dots" that were about the size of a bb (for a bb gun) and they were a little darker than the sand itself.

What is this?!?

Color? Texture? Why do you have a tank just sitting there?

I might have a guess if I had the slightest idea what a bb is!
And, is it in the sand or on the glass or floating in the water. I think you meant that it is in the sand but I´m not sure.

So here I am once more...

it is on the sand.

a bb is a little copper ball (about the size of a normal fish egg).

A BB is a small round piece of lead shot, used in air rifles (i.e. BB guns). They measure 7/40 inch (0.44 cm) across.

i stirred the sand up cuz i thought it could of been anerobic bacteria growing in it or something.

I dont think it could of been snails, unless they can just "appear" in a tank. And i havent put anything in the tank to make debres.

Also, it was ALL over the gravel.
