I have a pair of convicts that just layed eggs for the first time inside a pot in my 20 gallon.I have a AC150. Will the filter suck the fry up? I know you have to remove it with angels, it it the same with convicts?

Put a sponge over the intake. Cut a slit, slip it over and rubber band it in place.

Good luck, Mike

Yes, as it is, it will probably suck up the fry, though it may not get them all, it will get some or most. I would suggest as stated above, get a sponge filter pad, wrap it around the intake to the filter, and use rubber bands around it to hold it into place. Just watch it closely, as it will become full of detritus fast, and need cleaned when it does, so as not to damage your filter.
