i've just upgraded my 40G to a 72G see shekois log in the plant forum.

Anyway my 40g is being kept cycled by a few neons and dwarf gourami.

as i have a planted tank already i now want a rocky, structure to this tank, but i can't make up my mind of what to keep.

i've decided against marine for now becasue of the time and cost involved - wait couple years for that one.

Cheers Karl

I voted for other as I would suggest you take it easy for now with this tank. The new 72G should keep you busy for a while and the best ideas on what you would like to do with the 40G tank will be born when you are not rushing it .

For the 40 Gallon, I would keep it simple and add like a large group of 18 or so tetras like rummy-nose or cardinals or black neon tetras, a pair or blue rams and maybe a bristle nose. Something like:

18 tetras (rummy-nose, cardinals or black neons)
2 blue rams
1 bristle nose

I think that sound nice
