Don't know if the regal whiptail is what I know as a "royal whiptail" but Lam's Aquarium in Pmatta is where I got one. You could give them a buzz and see if they have one...btw they have two shops, their other one may be in your area if the Parramatta one isn't near you.

All the best for your search.

they're better known as royal whiptails, and i've bought them before at st george aquariums in kogarah, aquapets in bondi and slippery little suckers (which has to be the best shop in sydney IMO)in randwick. give them a call beforehand - though they are all worth a visit irrespective of whether they have royals or not.

I don't rem Slipper little suckers have them currently, just been there today..they are at Kingsford btw...

Bondi Junction Aqua pets is also a good place to go, they specialise in freshwater and have lots of tanks

Those fish are most often called Royal Farlowellas (despite not being a true Farlowella). Whiptails are usually flatter in body shape than the Farlowella-type fish.

ask retailers if they can order them in for you.
