fish1 Banned Posts: 1727 Kudos: 1910 Votes: 58 Registered: 09-May-2004	I highly doubt any of those fish would try to kill/eat a mystery snail. I would say it died first then was eaten. Even if a fish wont kill another fish to eat it most fish will still eat dead fish. fish1

Troy_Mclure Fish Addict Posts: 725 Kudos: 306 Registered: 20-Jan-2003	well before it died I noticed it trying to climb out of the tank alot. I thought it was trying to lay eggs. But now that its dead Im wondering if it was trying to stay away from a nippy fish.

poisonwaffle Mega Fish Posts: 1397 Kudos: 591 Registered: 11-Feb-2003	I had a snail in my 29g w/peppered cories, bettas, and other fish too. I found the snail's shell empty on the bottom of the tank one day (he'd been sitting there for a few weeks, but had been sticking his siphon out occasionally, so I knew he was alive). I'm guessing that it died and was eaten by the cories...but it may have been killed by the betta...
