They also have a 75 gallon brand new for 399.00.(which ill be getting for another room). They have 125 and 150 but the furniture is not the color im looking for. I really dont want a used tank unless its in real good condition. We are looking for a 100 -125 gallon with black funiture. Any sites you use that may be a bit cheaper? |

Often, even if the pet store doesn't have it, they can order it for you. Just recently I ordered a RR 72 gallon BowFront tank with a black stand from my LFS, which also happens to be where I work, but we have customers special order their preferred tank and stand colors all the time. It can never hurt to ask. ![]() -Formerly known as the Ferretfish ![]() |

Posts: 2623 Kudos: 2462 Votes: 337 Registered: 29-Mar-2003 ![]() | I don't happen to have my handy dandy book that lists the dimensions of the different size tanks, but here is one suggestion: Wal-Mart has the DIY stands for 55 gallon tanks. If the 100 or 125 you are looking at are the same in width, but longer, why not buy two of these stands and put them together side by side, then add a piece of plywood that fits over the top, add a couple (well a few more than that) screws to connect the plywood to the stands. This seems as though it would work, and I know the stands that Wal-Mart sells are easy to put together, has some good storage underneath, are about $75 each, and are BLACK!!! Just an idea...Heidi:%) "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." Thomas Carlyle |

I check all the LFSs, the classified section of my newspaper, and online. I got my 75 gallon (stand, tank, lights) for less then $400 and my 29 gallon (stand, tank, lights) for less then $130. I'm sure many folks here can top that, but I do like my tanks new. |
