Well, this is pretty much the Arapaima gigas season, so it would make sense that they're being sold now.

Obviously only very few people should be buying such a fish.

yea.. they should be really selling a 13 foot fish at the LSF for people to put them in their 30 gallon tanks.... real smart

I dont really find the point in people selling 13ft fish, they are just too big. They should be on special order only

I hope that the seller asks to see the necessary licence before completing the sale.

I know where I am from the seller can get in trouble for selling reptiles to people who don't have the appropriate licence. It's only fair as it ensures both parties involved in the transaction do the correct thing.

I hope the creature survives the change and gets appropriate housing...although back in the wild would be better.

yep lunker it says somewhere on that thing you have to get some tags or sometin before he can ship it out of africa or whatever!
