Hi,
Im seriously considering setting up a 10 gallon nano reef tank. I was wondering what you guys think is the best combination of corals and fish. Btw im a noob th Sw, and im just now trying to get into it. Any opinions are apreciated.

Btw. im planning on not running a protien skimmer on this tank because of its size.

Thanks

10 is a hard tank to do if your new, things can change over night rather than a bigger tank that will take maybe a week to show same affects. have a read around before you commit yourself to a tank.
I regret ever doing my 11g tank, so many water changes its not funny

Your options for stocking a 10 gallon are very limited.

You cant even really have multiple fish.

When you calculate the displacement for the live rock and sand and stuff you'll be lucky if you have 5 gallons of water to work with.

Id stay away from goby's....they need way too much sand to be housed in a small tank. Pick one small fish and if you keep up on water quality you can do it. Personally though in a tank that small I wouldnt add any livestock except for corals/inverts.
