I am going to use a 400 gph bio-wheel filter, two powerheads/wavemakers, 2 airstones, a protein skimmer, and the HOB filter from my 30 gallon tank. I want my tank to be fish-only with about 15 pounds of live rock. My stock that will go in there are ![]() 6 Blue/Green Chromis 2 Firefish 3 False Percs 1 Common Cleaner Wrasse 1 Scarlet Cleaner Shrimp 1 Peppermint Srimp 17 Hermits 10 Margarita Snails I want to add: 1 Blue Tang 1 Yellow Tang 1 Humu Huma Trigger 2 Threadfin (Auriga)Butterfly 1 Foxface Rabbitfish 1 Bicolor Angelfish ??Bursa Trigger?? I will also add a cleaning crew. Will this be ok? |

Otherwise, you will have problems with Nitrates, which will force you to change a lot of water, spending $$$ on salt. Better off buying the L.R. in my opinion. Your filtration is a bit low in gph for that size of tank and with the little L.R. you currently plan on putting in. I would not put air stones in the tank as they are not needed. Your 2 powerheads + the filters will make enough water aggitation to supply the O2. As for the stocking, I have no comments. CC |
