This time, I found a goby and three wrasses that are proving to be troublesome for me to ID. So if any of you can help out with identifying these fish, I'd be grateful! First, this goby (blurry shot because it was moving fast when I shot it): |

I'll be back with the goby after a little look through my book. Critical Fertilator: The Micromanager of Macronutrients |

Goby was in a large show tank which it was sharing with some fairly big fish, including a Vlamingi Tang. Most of the other fish though were pretty small ... shoal of Chromis damsels, couple of Ocellaris clowns, but there was a pretty impressive looking adult Fiji Pearlscale Butterfly in there with the Vlamingi Tang. Mind you, I didn't stop to watch it for any extensive length of time, because I wanted to get into the shop proper and boost my Panda Cory numbers while I was in there. It was pretty chunky for a goby - must have been a good 6 inches long, and was very active even despite the looming shadow of the Vlamingi Tang above it! |
